I wouldn't celebrate. There had huge losses compared to the previous year looking at that data. The gaming division though making money is not doing nearly as well as it was the year before. Considering this is the Ps3 2nd year where it should be becoming established its not great.

These numbers are pretty bloody awful compared to how the Ps2 sold last gen. What the hell is wrong with Japan.
killzone will score higher but i wouldn't be surprised if Halo wars shifts some copies on the name alone. A big xbox game can easily shift a million in a few days. The Ps3 seems to struggle a bit with huge sales week one.
Not saying it will outsell Killzone i very very much doubt it but yoiu never know with a Halo game even if it is a stratagy one.

Dead space just raised the bar for this type of game. The demo for Resi5 has nice graphics but controls, movement and combat are all clunky and feel very dated. Its a shame because with a bit more thought and better controls it could have been great.
